Le Corbusier, Villa Savoye, 1928-1931

Villa Savoye is one of the clearest built expressions of Le Corbusier’s modernist principles. In this drawing, I focused on the horizontal window bands, the visual axis toward the terrace ramp, and the shadow play across the roof walls.

Rather than treating the villa as a photographic object, the image reduces it to essentials, line, plane, and rhythm, so that structural clarity and geometric balance become the primary subject.
